It evokes the southern coast of the Alentejo: worn cliffs, contours eroded by the sea, the trace of wind over sand.
Sul captures this idea of form in transformation, of matter shaped by time, in a composition that speaks of the earth not as background, but as a living body.
Developed through tufting with wool, Sul makes it possible to create large forms with pronounced relief.
The technique explores the sculpting of the surface, translating natural gestures into textile volumes. Each curve is carved with height variations that emphasise the fluid rhythm of the composition.
Made exclusively with natural wool, Sul expresses its character through thickness and touch.
The restrained palette reinforces the link with the coastal landscape and allows light to model the curves with softness. Wool comes alive in volume, in an organic and tactile presence.
